Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for projects.
• Support senior quantity surveyors with procurement and subcontractor management.
• Assist with valuations, variations, and claims.
• Maintain accurate records of costs, budgets, and contracts.
• Attend site visits and help monitor the progress of projects.
• Help with contract administration and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop your understanding of the construction process, including estimating and cost control.

• A keen interest in the construction industry and an eagerness to develop a career in Quantity Surveying.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Motivated, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Ideally based within a commutable distance of North Essex.

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field (desirable but not essential).
• No prior experience in Quantity Surveying is required, although any relevant experience or internships would be beneficial.
